Morning Light Tudor

the Story
The clients wanted to add a master bathroom and update the master bedroom. The challenge with this project was we didn’t have much room to work with, so we took over part of a closet and added a small addition to the second floor. Since the addition would be added to the front of the house, we had to make sure it looked good from the street, which meant we would need to add windows. How can you have windows where you would want mirrors over a vanity? We came up with an idea to put mirrors on a track, so the mirror could slide into place when needed and move away for checking out the day’s weather. We hung pendant lights to light up the mirrors. One of the other fun features was the large mirror at the end of the bathroom. It hides a secret door to an attic space for storage. As part of the remodel, we also added built-ins to the master bedroom to maximize storage and closet space. The center built-in hides a TV.
