The Offices at Ada’s

the Story
The clients decided to create a co-working space. It’s for folks that need a desk to work at and where they can share conference rooms for meetings. They had a waiting list 5 days after announcing the space. We had a smaller space to work with so we knew we wanted to make the conference rooms a feature. We found a bunch of old windows that we could cheaply source for cost savings. We worked with the windows to determine the size of the three conference rooms. We used carpet in the conference rooms to help with sound deflection. On the walls, we created black and white maps of various cities and used it as wallpaper. We found used lockers so folks could store things there in a secure place. For the kitchen, we used Ikea cabinets so the clients could self-install to save a lot of time and money. In fact, most of the furniture was Ikea and I think it came out really well.
